Givrins (Switzerland), June 10, 2016 - This coming August contains a firework of high class reining sports. Two weeks at the CS Ranch in Givrins,  from August 4-6 and August 11-13. Under the patronage SVAG, CS Classic and organised by the experienced team of the CS Ranch. The NRHA SVAG CS Maturity & NRHA Show, the SVAG FEI European Reining Championships Young & Junior Riders 2016 and – the highlight - the SVAG FEI World Reining Championships 2016.

“All visitors are welcome” – Watching and being thrilled is for free!


The kick-off to the “Summer of Reining” will be the NRHA show from August 4-6 with a proven selection of NRHA classes:

  • Rookie-level 1&2 (beginners)

  • Snaffle Bit Open

  • Non-Pro for horses 5 years and younger

  • NRHA Youth Classes for 13 and under as well as 14 -18 years of age

  • NRHA Limited Non Pro

  • Intermediate Non-Pro and Non-Pro (amateurs) and NRHA Limited Open, Intermediate Open, and Open (professionals).

The participants of the NRHA Non-Pro and NRHA Open classes will be competing for the considerable amount of 10.000 EUR in “added money”.

A novelty at the SVAG CS Classics - The NRHA SVAG CS Maturity for five through eight-year-old horses.

Brand new in the history of the SVAG CS Classic are the NRHA SVAG CS Non-Pro and Open Maturity classes, open for five to eight-year-old horses with “added money” from 3.000 up to 10.000 EUR, depending on the class. A brand new payback schedule, which allows the event organiser to guarantee payback money up to the 15th place, the NRHA SVAG CS Maturity will be a first highlight of the SVAG CS Classic 2016. 

The competitors of the NRHA SVAG CS Maturity classes will have an additional treat: Thursday morning hosts a Maturity Non-Pro and a Maturity Open Pre-Prep Class. Perfect conditions to enter the competition on Saturday well prepared.

The Maturity classes are the grand finale of the first reining week at the CS Ranch in Givrins; the following week will continue at high level:

SVAG FEI European Reining Championships for Young and Junior Riders 2016 For the third time in a row, the SVAG FEI European Reining Championships for Young and Junior Riders will be held as a part of the event SVAG CS Classic. Participants from whole Europe will be competing against each other in teams and as individuals. Which youths and junior riders will compete for their countries during the
second week of the show, will be announced after the entry deadline July 25th. Can last year’s teams and individuals defend their titles? We are excited to find out!


It is a special honour, not only for the team of the CS Ranch and Corinna
Schumacher, but also for Switzerland, to be allowed to host a reining championship for the first time in the history of FEI Reining. Top riders from all over the world are awaited and will be competing against each other in both team and individual competitions. That the large arena at the CS Ranch will come close to boiling more than once during the shows is preprogrammed, and great atmosphere is guaranteed.

Confirmed entries at the moments are from the following nations: Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, France, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, Austria, Finland, Hungary, Mexico, USA, Italy, Belgium, Sweden and Canada.



The well-attuned team of the CS Ranch as proven throughout the years, that they are not only capable of coping with an event in this dimension but also of doing it with the highest level of professionalism and passion.
